PERSONAL PATERNITY DNA TESTING

We understand that families are not always... clear. At Forensic Genetics Centre we can offer an easy way to determine paternity of a child. We offer confidential DNA home paternity testing for curiosity purposes as well as for legal paternity matters.

We offer at Home Paternity Test Kit complete with buccal swabs for sample collection. The inside of the mouth of the child is swabbed for skin cells, and the same is done with the possible father. When these samples are sent back to our laboratory, we can determine within 5 business days if the alleged father is indeed the biological father or not.

Alternatively, the paternity test can be performed on blood, chewing gum, licked stamps, hair samples (with roots intact), sperm and other biological specimens. There is no difference in DNA taken from cheek cells, hair follicles, or blood: you will get the same test results, regardless of sample type.

The DNA home paternity testing method used by Forensic Genetics Centre is the most powerful in the industry. We test to a probability of 99.99% or higher in the case of inclusions and 100% in the case of exclusions.
